Who can apply for a KITAS investor visa?
Before obtaining a KITAS investor visa, the company’s authorized capital must exceed IDR 10 billion and there must be a minimum of 25% of the authorized capital paid up. As for companies established before 2009, it is possible to invest less capital.
Finally, the investor must first have a value of at least one billion rupees in personal equity invested in the PMA and hold the title of director or delegate.
As an Investor that holds no position in a PMA company, but with personal shares of over IDR 1.125.000.000 (one billion, one hundred and twenty-five thousand rupiah), you will also be eligible to apply for an Investors KITAS, however work is not permitted.
